Licensure compacts keep growing
The Counseling Compact has nine operational jurisdictions and the IMLC added Alaska. PA compact privileges are expected in early 2027.
The Counseling Compact now has nine operational jurisdictions. The Interstate Medical Licensure Compact added Alaska as its 44th member state. The PA Licensure Compact expects privileges to begin in early 2027, so PAs still need individual state licenses for now.
What to do: track compact privileges as their own credential type, separate from home-state licenses.
